You're late to the party

I used to be a lighting designer with theaters in the California bay area. I worked with companies like the Magic Theatre, the Aurora, the Shotgun Players, Crowded Fire, the Willows, the Lorraine Hansberry Theater, Marin Theater Company, Just Theater, and Killing My Lobster. I was a resident artist with Crowded Fire, and I taught lighting to kids from 1 to 92.

Nowadays? Not so much. But there are still lots of pretty pictures from some of the shows I designed. Click the thumbnails on the left to see.

For the record, there were some good shows I did that I never got around to putting up photos for. Ecstacy: A Water Fable at Golden Thread, Machinal at Brava, Clue at Boxcar, The First Grade at the Aurora, and Exit, Pursued by a Bear at Crowded Fire. In retrospect, the fact that I stopped updating this site may have been a sign that I was coming to the end of my lighting career.

These days I live in Philadelphia and I work in early childhood education. But it's still nice to look at the pictures.
